This policy explains what information Ultimate Bargain Furniture ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website, chat with our online assistant, or message us on Facebook Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Messages you send us. When you chat with our online assistant on our website, Facebook Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp, we receive the text of your messages.
Contact details you choose to share. If you ask us to hold an item or contact you, we collect your name and phone number, and any details you give us (such as the item, delivery ZIP code or preferred pickup day).
Messaging account identifiers. When you message us on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, those services send us an ID for your account (or your phone number, on WhatsApp) so we can reply to you.
Basic technical information. Like most websites, our systems receive your IP address and browser information. Our website chat also saves your conversation in your own browser for up to 3 days, so it stays open as you move between pages.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information through chat.

How we use your information

To answer your questions about our furniture, prices, delivery, financing and store information.
To place and manage free item holds and to contact you about your hold or request.
To prevent abuse of our chat (for example, limiting how many messages can be sent in a short time).
To improve our customer service.

Automated assistant

Our chat is answered by an automated assistant powered by artificial intelligence. Your messages are sent to our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate replies. Replies may not always be complete or accurate; prices, availability and delivery details are confirmed by our team before any sale. You can ask to talk to a person at any time by calling (470) 695-9222.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:

Meta Platforms (Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp), to receive and send messages.
Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate chat replies.
Cloudflare, which hosts our chat service.
Odoo, our business system, where item holds and customer contact details are stored.

We may also share information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Chat conversation history used by the assistant is kept for up to 3 days.
Hold requests and contact details you give us are kept in our business records as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your choices and data deletion

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including your chat history and contact details. To request deletion:

Email sales@ultimatebargainfurniture.com with the subject "Delete my data", or call (470) 695-9222.
Tell us the name, phone number or messaging account you used.

We will confirm and complete your request within 30 days.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
